This Land Rover Defender 110 ‘Wildside’ is an iconic 4×4, which has benefited from a comprehensive restoration with bespoke modifications by AMO Garage.Under the bonnet sits a rebuilt turbocharged 2.5-litre ‘Td5’ inline-five diesel with bored and sleeved cylinders, which has been stripped back and acid dipped, paired with a rebuilt R380 five-speed manual gearbox.The vehicle was stripped to the chassis, which was sandblasted and re-coated. The car was then hand-built from the ground up.A number of new components were used, including turbocharger, intercooler, radiator and stainless-steel exhaust. It also features a custom-engineered roll cage and four-seat conversion.

Inside, there is a custom four-seat conversion with re-trimmed tan leather upholstery, featuring diamond-quilted seat inserts, a contrasting black leather-trimmed dashboard, and tan centre console.A real teak deck covers a custom slide-out drawer system with in-built charging and a fresh water shower linked to an underbody stainless tank.
It rides on a set of 16-inch ‘Sawtooth’ alloy wheels finished in gloss-black, and wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres.
Externally, this Defender now features a bespoke grille and headlight surround, a factory-style front bumper, twin Lightforce spotlights, clear LED side lights and tail lights, upgraded LED headlights with driving lights, custom aluminium front wing vents, a unique roll cage frame, bespoke sill bars, and billet aluminium windscreen hinges.
The vehicle was converted from a 110 wagon to the Mova ‘Wildside’ soft top (the vehicle could in principle be converted back to a wagon at the buyer’s additional expense).The cabin has been upgraded with a black leather-trimmed Lode Lane steering wheel, a double-DIN media system with Bluetooth connectivity, and USB/12-volt inputs.
